My new 200sx has developed sort of a hot start problem. ever couple of days if i shut the car down and then try to start it it takes about 15-20 secconds of cranking with me playing with the throttle pedal to start it. also the past 2 days it has been cooler here and my car will not want to move until the idle bumps up to 1600 rpms or so (it starts at 1500 and stays for about 10 secconds the bumps up to 1600) any ideas? i am thinking leaky injector
old problems new car

Check the vacuum line at the fuel pressure regulator first and see if the the fuel is leaking from a crack/worn diaphram.
check the line? like to see if it is cracked? or apply some vaccum to it and see if anything changes?
Yes, actually that a good idea. you should check the vacuum line first and see if it's cracked or leaking air. If there is not enough vaccum the return will be partially open and you will have too much fuel. If the diaphram is sticky then you will also have the same problem. This happen to me with the used regulator that I bought to replace my original leaky one. I think the spec is 1.5 bar but I have to look it up in the fsm. If fuel is coming out from the vaccum line then the diaphram is leaking and the extra fuel is being added thru the vacuum line into the intake manifold (that's what happen to my original regulator). Your fuel pressure regulator has a diaphram inside that is operated by vaccum. When the car is running at low rpm (no load) the vaccum pulls the diaphram and open the bypass/return to the fuel tank. When your car is on boost or under load it's on + pressure and the bypass is close; thus, you have higher fuel pressure and more flow to the injectors. This is just one item you can check and eliminate.
i'll try it tonight thanks
