parking light disassembly?

OKAY...so I'm planning on a parking light mod right now...BUT to make it a HELL of a lot easier, it would be best if I could remove the lens w/o breaking it.

anybody know what has to be done to do this?

this is for the MK.I parking lights(the long one)

Hmmm... Ok. What are you planning to do with these Parking Lights?

The lens is a pain to remove but then I think if you try to take it off it can break. There could be some other way...

have you tryed a heat gun, that works for VW's

bake it in the oven at like 200 degress for a few minutes then peel away

Shoot, mine just came right off. I just pryed very easily under a couple places, and it popped right out. I tried using overhead light lens to make clear lights, but I didn't like the way it turned out, so I put em back in. I'm still thinking about buying some cheap S10 clear bumper lenses and cutting them down, you can get them for around $20...

yeah mine came right out too lol. Look for your lights on ebay. its always cheap there.

I found a perfect pair in a junk yard for $7 each......can't get much cheaper than that!!
