Hi all. I am having trouble getting the door skins off the doors. I know how to get all the door furniture off exept the door latch release. I have done this before with a toyota but the screw i was expecting wasnt there! :-x please tell me what is the trick to this? there has to be one!
Are you talking about the inner door vinyl?
Yep thats it. I just need to get the door latch lever out of the way. How do I get it off?
If you want to take the skin off the latch and the plactic behind it stay on the door. Just take off the plastic trim around the outside. This clips on. Use a screw driver / knife and pry it off from about half way along the long side pushing upward between the plastic outer and the plastic behind the latch. be careful as its 20 years old and probably a bit brittle.
