the driver's side headlight on my SE wants to stay on ALL the time.. i tried unplugging the switch and the control box for the alarm (since when the alarm activates the headlights come on) neither of those did anything.. earlier i was talking to Chris (cls12vg30) and it was doing the same thing but then when i unplugged both plugs from the headlight switch and plugged them back in the light went out.. well now the light came on again (after driving for a little while) and it wont go out (even with unplugging the switch).. so for right now i just unplugged the negative battery cable so it wont kill the battery overnight.

anyways.. if anyone has had this happen to them, or has some suggestions as to what it may be, please let me know ASAP! Thanks!!

Sounds like a short to ground someplace in the headlight harness or some where in on of those connectors you took off and put back on. I would inspect the wiring to see if you can spot any signs of arching. Or it is something in the switch causing it to complete the circuit and keep the light on.
