Ok, I may have screwed up. I got a set of ST's for a 300zx. Should the whole set work for a 87 SE, or will I need to get 280z springs for the front. Would the Front Strut Assembly from a Z31 bolt in and work?

I believe the problem with the 300ZX front springs is that they are too large a diameter and don't fit in the strut towers. I might be mistaken, but I believe that was the issue. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Either way, you can't order ST springs in anything other than a set of 4 for the 300ZX, so you would still have gotten the front springs regardless.

Yeah, thats what I thought. But as far as ordering fronts and rears seperate, JC Whitney sells ST's in pairs. So I'll probably have my sister buy a set of front springs for a 280z, and I'll give her the fronts I have for the Z31, which she needs to go with the pair of rears she has.

Make sure you get 280ZX. 280Z is a different car, with different springs if I'm not mistaken.

Have we talked to a company like Eibach about making a master set, with 4 springs, 280zx front, and 300zx rear? I wouldn't think this too hard...

Well, I don't know who would buy em from Eibach. Progressive rate springs are lame. As far as getting a company to sell them as a set with Z31 Rear and S130 Front, it'd be a matter of showing enough interest.
