A guy came into my work yesterday, and put new rims on his celica. i asked him what he was doign with them, at the time, he didnt know. Today he comes back..$140, and they're mine!
15 x 7
45mm offset
114.3 x 5 bolt circle

thats REAL close to what they look like..they dont have the toyota center caps, i think they're factory look-alikes..
do the lugs match as far as the Thread pitch goes? i know they're Flat seat, but that doesnt matter...

Wheels Specs
This thread was saved without dates. "Around Sep 2004" is estimated from neighbouring threads.
Toyota generally has a very similar thread but not quite so don't use toyota wheel nuts. The offset is quite big, have you tried fitting them yet? Rims i have seen on S12s have generally been around 27-35 sort of range of offsets. Might need spacers on them or somthing.
...see if i understand this...offset is the distance from center (of the rim) that the bolts circle is. Inset is the same, ut actually inward, giving the deep dish look? I dont want the wheels sticking out, and looking dumb..(the spacer thingy)
Nothing to do with dish, it determines the centre of the rim itself in relation to the face that goes against the hub, dish is only really determined by the design of the rim, offset is critical in actually getting a rim to fit your car, fwd cars generally have more offset (ie if you try and put a fwd rim on your rwd it'll often hit the suspension etc) hence the need for spacers.
the rears WILL fit fine.
I just confirmed my wheels today at 17x7 with 43+ offset.
the rear WILL fit fine..no mods needed.
the fronts, you'll need at least 14mm spacers and longer wheel studs.(50mm - 60mm in length)
ok...lets see if this helps at all.
Rim width = distance between the INSIDE of the bead seats.
diameter = the diameter at the bead seat.
Backspace = the distance from the inside edge of the rim the the mounting pad.
Offest = the distance towards the outside (+) or towards the inside (-) from the center of the rim. Usually measured in mm.

ok..where do i get these spacers? ..studs also?? could i get that stuff from say summit racing? (i live like 10 min from them)
With a spacer that thick you should have a hub centric grove for the rear of the spacer to match your factory hub 66.2mm and a hub centric lip on the front of the spacer that is the size of the center hole on the rear of the wheels(if it uses the Toyota hub center size it will be 60.1mm). Just looking at these number will show you that you will have a very hard time fitting these wheels properly. I wouldn't recommend using a space 10mm+ thick without it being hub centeric for both the hub and wheel. the reason for this is because it will put a lot of stress on the wheel studs which will result in breaking studs more frequently. Not very safe at all. If the center hole of the wheels is bigger than 66.2mm than you could by H&R wheels spacers part# HRWSN06 and use a hub centeric rig to span the gap between the 66.2mm lip on the spacers and the hole in the rear of the wheel plus use 60mm long studs from Nismo.

I just noticed that you said the wheels were on a Celica and ALL Celicas are 5x100mm bolt pattern not 5x114.3mm.
I thought of that too but decided that since i don't know jack about fwd celicas i wouldn't say anything. Some fwds are 5x114.3, like magnas and other such larger cars.
You could kill 2 birds w/ one stone and get 2 pair of adapter spacers (converts from 5x114.3 to 5x100). I know T3 sells them and you can usually find them on ebay. They are usually no less than 1in in thickness. They usually cost a pretty penny though? *shrugs* but if you really like the rims?

its the older celica GTS. all i know is that at the shop, we mounted a set of 15 x 6.5: 114.3 x 5 45mm offset rims on a celica..im not lying..PROMISE

1971 to 1977 have 4x114.3mm bolt pattern
1978 to 1981 have 4x114.3mm bolt pattern
1982 to 1985 have 4x114.3mm bolt pattern
1986 to 1989 have 4x100mm bolt pattern, the 88-89 GTS and All-trac had 5-100mm
1990 to 1993 have 5x100mm bolt pattern
1994 to 1999 have 5x100mm bolt pattern
2000 to 2005 have 5x100mm bolt pattern
As you can see this is every gen. of Celicas and not one has ever had a 5x114.3mm bolt pattern.

select 1995 Toyota Celica (http://www.1000wheels.com/cgi-bin/Web_store/year2make/db_manager.cgi?setup_file=wheel.setup&product_type=factory)I'm not trying to make you mad, look a www.tirerack.com (http://www.tirerack.com) or any other wheel site it shows all models of Celica from 94-99 have 5x100mm. A lot of times aftermaket wheels have dual bolt patterns so it can fit most 5 bolt pattern cars, that may be the case here.
Dan, i acknowledge the fact that you know a shit ton about cars...I like to think i know quite a bit too..Please, believe me, it was a 114.3 x 5 bolt circle...only 5 holes, not the 10-hole universal. i don't know how or why it was..but im sure it was 114.3 x 5...but i will look at tire rack.
I own a 97' Celica and I can confirm its 5x100 offset.
