Okay, here is the situation, I know thaat dsm injectors fit in the ca18det's fuel rail, and I know the clips are the same, my question is will they work on my mines ecu set up for 440cc skyline injectors>>??? What difference is there in the impendance, can someone please figure out if this will work or not????? I'm getting real cranky cause I want to put my engine in already!!!!!

I think stock 1G turbo manual (NOT the automatic, the injectors are smaller) injectors are 360cc, 440cc is generally a biiiiig upgrade for DSM injectors.
So no, you need 440cc injectors for a computer calibated for, of all things, 440cc injectors.
DSM injectors are 450cc so it would only be off by a little bit. Id say give it a try they souldn't run much richer if at all.
Yeah, upgrades for the DSM's are like freakin 580cc's and crazy stuff like that. I just got a set for mine that I'm sending to Bart to make a fuel rail for, but I'm not sure how the CA18DET fuel rail is, so I'm not much help there... :laugh:

Yup, blue top 1G TSi 5 spd injectors are 450ccs low impedance.
The Auto TSi and NTs are 390 IIRC

you're good to go. They're cheap to get 2nd hand. I got a set of 4 for $50, and have seen many others go for that or less.
I'd swap in all 4, rather than run 3 and one different one. The 10cc won't make a difference, I just think it's good to stay consistent.
Yeah, I just got a set for $55, that's about the going rate for a set, hard to find em cheaper...
great thread but, you're problem will be the fact the DSM injectors will not fit snugly in you're intake manifold or you're fuel rail...bummer.
Try VG30DeTT 440cc injector, they are the same as skyline. (this one you can bust my balls on, I might be wrong)

Johnthose are 360cc injectors side feed, the DSM injector do fit and have been used by members of NICO.
i belive the dsm injectors are high impedance.. ~16ohms and almost all nissan ones are low impedance ~2-4ohms so if the comp is set for low impedance injectors the dsm ones wont work

ok, duh, wrong way around, DSM kid wanted to buy skyline injectors. And it was backwards....those wont work, because they are smaller Dumbass (that's what i thought) it wasnt fitment it was size (stepping down).
Ok, the 6 cyclinder i was thinking of that ran an insanely inexpesive 440cc topfeeds would be the 7mgte. Omg i told you i might be wrong.

mazda rx7 turbo 2 are 550 low inpendance
a lot of them are
even 720cc i can't remmeber where but are low too
