These are for an ae 86. I was wanting these to increace the steering angle for drifting. When you lower an s12 you lose some steering angle. These will fix that.

I thought they were to bring the control arms back to level so as not to wierd up your suspension geometry when your car is excessively lowered. I don't think it'll effect your steering angle, if you want more lock you can put washers between your tie rod ends and the rack so that the rod ends can slide into the rack further (usually the ball joint at the rack end will bottom out on the rack casing, if the washers are small it can slide inside the rack slightly and give you more steering angle :D)

Thats what I got atm, except it was done with the adapters being a bit longer instead of using washers. Works a treat!

I'll try this as well thanks :) you got pics or a how to?

Well on the spacers I think it will work because when I jack up my front up off the ground and steer to the lock their is alot more steering angle and as I lower the car on the ground the wheels look like they turn but it is at full lock still. Yes it puts the countrol arm down to put the tention rod and tie rod in its proper angels thats why I think it will work.

Hmm that could be true, i am going to do what i described to my car (i've had it sitting at full lock at the drift day a little bit, more is always better) soon, i'm fitting S13 control arms which are slightly longer with modified R31 castor rods (just cos they bolt to the S13 arms and the S12 rods don't) for my camber (i have modified my S12 ones for more castor which works sweet).
With the extra length of the S13 arms (about 5mm) i should be able to get more clearance to swing my wheels in the arches i hope. With 7" rims up front you don't end up with a whole stack of extra room to use if you do go with more lock but i think i can get a little more at least.

Sounds great :) you can use s14 control arms. a little longer then s13. So how hard is it to get R31 castor rods? Over here in the U.S. we don't have that option. Well maybe early z31 will work they need to be shortened.

S14 arms might be longer but the overall length has to be the same you know, it's the part that goes against the rack thats has to be shimmed and the washers have to be able to slip inside the rack end to give you that extra lock.
As for R31 rods you will just have to look in wreakers and see what you can use instead.

If it helps I have a company that is supposed to be making bumpsteer spacers (I call them RCA's) for our cars but its taking them a while so I can't say exactly when they'll be availible. *shrugs*
