Unless you have alot of supplies and time in the right facilities, performance parts for these cars are rare to non-existant. But a few people here are make our own parts that WILL bolt in. If we dont make it we can find were id can be found. Nissans are relitavely common and easily modded (to my knowledge) and are great cars. But these S12s have been forgotten and the market for performance and other parts has been killed off over the past 10 to 15 years. But hang on to your S12, most people don't know what they are, muchless their history and continuing legacy!

To answer your question though- ALL factory turbo (CA18ET) S12 Silvias are the hatchbacks. But some hatchbackss came with the much lusted FJ20E/T or the standard CA20E, or the beast: The VG30E (3.0LV6). And if you do know that the car is a turbo, it will be a manual transmission.

Also just to add, the FJ was not part of the USDM, and hte turbo/VG30 was not available in the Notch back version. Do not loose hope though, YellowPreludeR has put a turbo on the CA20 in his notch, and some FJ equipped models have been making it over here since after the war. They are still few and far between, but it is easier to get them over here now because they are worth next to nothing over in Japan, and if you can afford shipping you can bring them over, and get them licenced...8)

Yea, thanks for clearing that up... I couldn't think straight cuz I was really tired. (I work at night ad sleep during the day) But doing cool stuff like that (Motor swapping) Is cool. I think It would be cool If someone could manage to fit a VG30DETT from a Z32 into a Notch and give it some big side exhaust;) SLEEPER!!! That would be able to roast anything on the street if you could get the power to the ground! Anyway, I'm rambling again so I'll shut up now...
