My turbo is fried so i need a new one. I cant find a t2 anywhere so ive been told to use a t25 plus seen it on the forums. i need to know if there are different kinds of t25's and which ones to use, also if there are any mods i need to do... any at all, or if it will all bolt right on. I am new to these cars and to this site.

get the one off the red top sr20det those are the best the ca18det t25 is way smaller.. and as long as you get the inlet nipple for the t25 u really dont have to do any mods.. this is the turbo im using and its sweet

SR20DET is a JDM 240SX engine. Red top is the first generation of SR engines, so basically you dont want a black top, you want red.

I have also heard that you can use a T25 off a Z31 (First generation Nissan 300ZX). Thats when they had single turbos. The twin turbo 300ZX (Z32-second generation) ones wont work. Thats my input.

i belive the 84-86 had the t25 and the 87-89 had the t3... they used both and the order is either how i listed it or vice versa.. i cant remember exactly

Are the turbos in the 200 ca18et water or oil cooled?

Water cooled with oil feed for lubrication (also cools some too).
