I just put a stock skyline blow off valve on my 200sx. It started running really bad,( a lot of black smoke and soot on the bumper). I think it was origanally running rich because the water temp gauge stopped working. so it thinks its always running rich. The blow off valve is routed to were it is atmosperic. Should I run a line to the intake??? It wont sit and idle but its fine when your on the throttle of off as in letting it coast in gear, but as soon as the car isnt in gear it cuts out. so if anyone can help please do.
blow off valve help??????

BOV is leaking, the AFM is therefore reading wrong, plumb it back into between the AFM and the turbo and you'll be sweet.
when your just barly on the throttle you can hear it sighing but as soon as you get on it, it stops sighing and the boost builds and as soon as you let off it blows. what do you mean afm?? mass airflow sensor? Im sorry but I dont understand were I should mount the revalve. P.S. do you have msn messanger?/
The valve itself is probably fine where it is, but it needs to dump the charge air back into the piping between the afm (maf to you yanks) and the turbo.
If it's open when you are just on the throttle it'll be open at idle to (not a good thing), so it'll be running rich at idle, also on gear changes when it dumps alot of charge air to the atmosphere it'll spike rich to. Also not a good thing. If you were to run an adjustable aftermarket valve you might be able to minimise this spiking but the best bet is just to run plumback. Personally i run a hybrid that dumps to the inlet tract as well as the atmosphere and it's fine, but it might not be if i set it to soft. beware the atmo BOV on AFM cars.
I know you can't see it very well but the shiney pipe coming from my BOV plumbs back into the intake between the AFM and the turbo (in the flexy tubing area) on the right hand side of the pic. Thats where it needs to go back in, no where else will do.
