I have an 85 model in Aus and I dont have power (thank god) :kicknuts:
I think I can turn the wheel 2 1/2 times. I can check when i get home if need be!

I used to have a manual rack i think it was 2 3/4 or so, but only from memory, salps12 has his manual rack car still so he can tell you.

Oh other parts had manual, all the ones over here in NA had power...(or at least I have yet to hear otherwise about the ones over here)

I tested the amount of lock i have and its basically stock. Any more with my wide front tyres and it will hit the inner guard.
It takes me two turns of the wheel to hit full lock.
And its no way near this amount thats for sure!

Swapping over to a manual rack isn't quite that simple. You need the complete rack including tie rods AND the lower shaft off the steering column. Sterling has been searching for that damn column piece for over a year with no luck.
