does anyone know the best way to get rid of sound deadening. it's so damn hard to scrape off. Is ther anything i should be aware of when i do the stripping.

i cant beleive you never asked me this when you PM'd me the other day!! :o

all i did was use a hammer and a chisel. it took around 20 man-hours to get it all out. i still have some to get rid of on the transmission tunnel behind the dash, though.

did you ring Triple G??

Dry Ice.

Put a bag of dry ice on the area, then it will chisel off far easier.

This is soooooo true. I chipped all mine out in my first SE with just a hammer and a flathead screwdriver. For my second SE, I did the dry ice thing and it came out MUCH cleaner and easier.

Yah but you would have to go to Manitoba, or Alberta, where they get the "dry cold" LMAO
