A couple things, first are there any other lights that do not work? Also do the turn signals work anywhere including the dash, or do you put them on and nothing happens anywhere? Same with the brake...

I'd start with the wireing harness. Sounds like a bad ground wire somewhere.

hmmm my first 200sx had a similar problem with no dash lights and such. only thing that would work was the left hand emergency flasher. turns out the connections for the fuses were so corroded they broke off and were not making contact.

I had the same problem with mine found it to be a black electronic box in the boot had died killing the stop and indercator lights

Do you mean working as the external lights are flashing, or just the interior indicator lights?

I am having a similar problem, but my turn signals work, just no brake lights. And the fuse appears ok, so it might be that little black box in the back huh. I will have to check that out.

Jason, Did you check the brake switch by the pedal? Common failure.

try unplugging the switch connected to your brake pedal. If they go out that switch is your problem...

or the little plastic bumper fell off the pedal where it meets the switch. if it did get some expoxy and a foot off a computer or similar and glue it on

fixed it, it was the switch but now my .......get this... head lgiths broke. yea, well i was cruisin and went over a bump and my battery - thing came off and my lights went out, the brights still work but my main beams still won'[t work. all the other electrical does to. wtf is goin on?

sry to bother you all and be impatient but i am stuck without my lights and stuck at home . so anyone got any ideas.

just a quick lil update, i checked the stalk and it is in good working order. that is all i can thing of though. any help is greatly appreciated
