Hi!

I don't where i must post it so i did it here
In a few days i probably buy an s12. ;)
I search for info and i find your forum, GREAT!
So i read and i read it again to know what are the weak points of this car in order to reinforce it.

After that i will probably add an intercooler some boost some fuel for better response, some better brake pads too! (and more...) but i expect you to advise me for not waste my money (perhaps i will buy here some parts)

Is there some website for s12 pieces?
Someone speak french?
Where do you come from?

I have many many questions but i will search by the "search option" first.

See you soon.

An s12 lover

Bienvenue.

I will update my profil sooner after having the car,i'll prefer.
The rust and back suspensions are ok!

I have an question, is the s13 intercooler easy to fit on the s12? because i would prefer use the s12 radiator first.

thx

The standard s13 IC is not very good

It seems volvo intercoolers are a good swap as well (thats what I did), and you can either use the volvo radiator or a 1980 toyota celica rad (also like I did). Oh yeah the IC came out of a 1985 volvo 740 station wagon gl model.

Bonjour Alundra.

Make sure you add your location to your profile so we can all see where you're from (which I assume is Quebec... :) )

hahaha what a funy thread! Well I love that we are so multi-cultural on here, we truely are worldwide.

Welcome to the club, and it sounds like we have a few Canadians on here who can help with any language barrier issues, so you should be able to benefit from the club as much as the rest of us :)

Hey Salp I tried. I should be taking French instead of Spanish.

If his S13s came with intercoolers, he's not from Quebec ;)

But i need info:
the boost gauge doesn't work on dashboard
the water temperature up "slowly"
there is an fuel symbol next dashboard on the right (LHD)
the brake seems hard to press
what is the rev limit?
122 HP with catalysor seems enough for now
thanks

Have u checked the boost sensor pipe hasnt come off? (mine did!)

Check and renew the thermostat, it could be as simple as that!

are the brakes 'spongy'? might need bleeding or there might be water contamination in the fluid

On an ET engine the optimal rev range is 3500 to 5500 any more than that and the power drops off (and you bust pisons!) seriously the 8v has lots of torque and with a weenie T2 Turbo it means little or no lag so it should pull like train

I got a fuel light to, but it dont work!

Hmmm yours has a cat? heheheh im running 140 with no cat in sight! is that a regulation of France?

Hey Salp I tried. I should be taking French instead of Spanish.

Somehow I think you'll get more use out of Spanish in TX than you would French.....

alundradate not saved · #24

Yes in Europe a cat was be fit for legal rules...

Ok so i will put later some photos with some connections in motor bay aren't "fitted", i'll explain later.

What about the ebay products?

i post in an order topic http://www.club-s12.org/board/showthread.php?t=8256

in order to go to 160-170 hp with my t2, original radiator, clutch and fuel pump.

Here i find easy Renault 21 saab volvo intercooler... BUT i can also find an "diesel" intercooler; advantages and inconvenients?

Quote i search for the cheapest i don't mind for the look...
