Ok, my alternator is constantly slipping due to the damn V Groove... new belt, I've adjusted it all over the place (too tight, too loose, what I thought was just right, argh). It ALWAYS squeals at start up and then stops after a few minutes... I've got low voltage anyway (I think the alternator is on the way out) and I'd like to get rid of the V Groove... Did the 4cyl ever have a serpentine style crank, alt, & power steering? I don't have A/C... Hopefully I can swap this crap out!!

Thanks,

Yeah I noted that when I was searching for an 86 Alternator, they are not VGroove... =) I need to get a crank PS Pump or Pulley, and an Alternator or Pulley... =(
