I was reading yesterday that the 510 guys were usinf 200sx headers because of their position. and I notice they had a set of headers for a 510 with a vg in it.

The 510 guys use the stock 200SX manifolds because they fit. That's the only reason. There are no 200SX headers. They do make headers for 510's with VG conversions, and yes, that would be our best bet. However, no one has ever test fit one yet. I was going to go this route, but the only headers I found were either not being made anymore, or cost $1200. I bought a set of MSA Z31 headers instead and took them to an exhaust shop to have them modified to fit. However, if I had to do it again, I probably would have taken the car to a high quality hot rod shop and had them build me headers from scratch.

Paeco makes custom headers at a cost of around $210 a side.

Yep, those are the exact ones I was looking to buy. The guy who makes them has disappeared, for about 2 years now. Those items are no longer available. To be honest, you could have headers made that would flow better and give better horsepower anyway.

Yeah. I set him an email a couple years ago and never got a reply. I heard he got hurt and couldn't do the work any more.

Guys Paeco is a local company where I live. Years ago they developed a bad reputation for delivering very bad work!!! I do not know if there quality has improved but shop with them with extream caution.

i just requested a catalog not too long ago..the guy in email said 3-4 weeks!

BullsEyedate not saved · #9

Do you want me to go by and pick one up for you? Thier shop is not far from my old stomping grounds.

ill just wait it out, see if he's good for what he says...that way, if i get it in 3 - 4 weeks its a sign that he can be trusted to his word.

Well today things worked out where I was about 4 miles from his shop. The same man owns it. i picked up a catalog or two, so if you do not get it let me know and I can mail it to you. i even left it in the truck I was driving too. ha.
