Well last night dad reminded me that stored in the roof we have a set of 'helper spring' type things that clamp to your shocks. Now obviously this will increase the effective spring rate of your rear end. These were from a MKII Escort (a euro escort, i don't think the US got them, but could be wrong) and i should be able to adapt them onto my konis to see how they go. If nothing else they are interesting looking. Now that i look at them i remember seeing kits like this on another car, a mates TA22 celica. I'm probably going to change the top cap so it doesn't clamp to the shock body (can't do that with konis) and joins to somthing else instead. Since i already have 260lb rear end and want around 300lb or a bit over these might be heavy enough to give me that extra rate.

DON'T use those man...

if one of them suddenly breaks off or comes loose it'll unload and you'll be ****ed...seriously.

I'm changing the upper points, might do the lower ones too, i'm still going to try them tho.
