Well my car decided to kick me in the chops again. I just got two shiny new gauges, an a/f ratio and a boost gauge, and I am trying to wire in the dimmer for said gauges. Does anyone know where I can splice in this wire to the existing harness? I'm pulling my hair out trying to find somewhere for this wire. Thanks in advance.

Since you mentioned dimmer I'm guessing you are trying to connect the lights for the gauges. Someone from Europe asked this question once and I found out that the dimmer switch itself controls the grounding and NOT the supply feed. If you want to light up the gauges and be able to dim then, all you have to do is take the power from the instrument circuit and connect the grounds to one of the 3 dimmer wires. Use a test light and you should be able to figure out which is what.
PS: The wiring is only theoretical because I tested the dimmer switch about a year ago and I never hook any gauges to test out my theory.
there is a dimmer wire behind the radio. take a test light and start probing 8)
thats where i caught mine on the old saturn, and i already wired up a relay for this from behind the radio for the gauges that will be going in shortly
If you're going to tap the light wire controlled by the dimmer switch behind the stereo, then it's the Red Wire w/ White Stripe.
just tap into the cruise control harness thats on the dash on the lft hand side.. the switch lights up.. thats where i have tapped in many things.. theres ignition voltag as well as light voltage there
Good idea seeing as I removed my cruise stuff anyways. I'll let you know if it works.
