Most likely your stalk is dead. The switch on the steering column. The points wear out and then it just stops working. Stop by a junkyard and pull a new headlight stalk. Shouldn't cost more than $5.
the fusebox is on the passnger side on the right under the glovebox. i dunno about the no-hi beams, it could be a problem in the switch (stalk)?
edit: bzzzzt! little too late on that one, d'oh. thanks dan :)
what....aww....but i mean all my lights work an all just my brights don't, i was really hopin it was a fuse.....****
Yah there are five finger inside it...this link should hopefully clear the problem up...if not it may be some faulty relays on the drivers side behind the headlight assemblyand in front of the shock tower. They will be hidden by a plastic cover...

can someone hook me up with some pics of this stalk, p.s. i checked my fuses there all good so it must be the stalk, too bad i have no clue what that is ** i looked at the link and now i know what a stalk is so let me get this right, can i just ajdust these "arms" to make my brights work agian then?)
The stalk is the arm that sticks out the left side of the steering column that controls your lights/cruise/blinkers.
Take the 2 piece cover off from the steering column held on with 4 screws from the bottom. Then unscrew the 2 screws that hold on the stalk. Disconnect the 2 wiring harrnesses, and pluck off the stalk. The side of the stalk that is up against the steering column has a clear/yellowish, thin plastic cover. Pop off that cover and the 5 fingers will be exposed. 2 are for each low beam, the other 2 are for each high beam, and the one in the middle is for parking lights.
To check what each finger controls what.....leave the 2 wiring harness plugs plugged in, and turn on the lights that don't work. Mash on the fingers so they make contact until the lights come on. Once you figure out which finger controls what.....you can bend them a little till they make contact with the switch on. Be careful not to bend them too much or the lights will stay on when they're suppose to be off .
thanks, i am getting started now. will keep you updated/
This fix worked great for me a few months ago.
i can only see 4 arms **edit** i do see 5 arms ***
Take tip off the switch, there's two contacs in there and underneath are two springs. Stretch the springs a little bit so the contacts make a better contact. This worked for me with the same problem. It also fixed the instrument light flicker, which effects your indicator lights outside.
got it thanks
Not being cheeky... bulbs ok?
