Yes. You will want to install new lifters and new valves springs as well, at the very least. New rocker arms are preferred, but not necessary. So don't forget those costs as well.

Lift(In/Ex): .427/.427. Duration(In/Ex): 270/270.
Note: Reground on Genuine Nissan Cams, sold in pairs on an exchange basis only. Your old cams must be returned to us in fully rebuildable condition. Warranty on camshaft requires use of new rocker arms, proper springs, proper lifters, and proper professional installation. Looks like if you're doing it yourself don't count on a warranty.

and isnt that $170 per cam?? i sent Colt Cams an email and they told me that for around $200ish (it was a little more but i cant remember the exact price) that they would do BOTH cams,.. and i bet you could even get them to the same specs as these ones

I was wondering the same, but it doesn't state anywhere that the price is per cam. ??? I had my custom cams ground by Elgin Cams, and they did it for just over $200.

ok.. i just called them up, and they said $169.95 is for the pair,.. BUT you have to send them your camshafts first and then they regrind yours and send them back to you

so your not getting new ones your getting yours modded.

like CU Zcar said.. it is a V6,.. meaning the engine is in the shape of a V, which 3 cylinders one each side, on top of the block on each side are the cylinder heads, and each cylinder head has 1 cam

now if this were an inline-6, all the cylinders would be in a row, so if it were a SOHC then it would only have 1 cam..

here is a pic of our VG30E that i took when i was tearing it apart
