S13 vs. S14 VLSD internal differences?

Hi guys,
I did a search but I didn't find anything conclusive. I'm seriously considering getting a VLSD from a guy from NWNissan. His VLSD came off of an S14. I have an R200 from an 88 turbo. I know that for the S13's, we can just swap the internals and call it a day. But with the S14's, would it be the same story?

Yeah, the S14's should be the same.

the internals are the same and will swap but you will need to make up some drive shafts

Really? I thought you just have to swap the internals and that's it. Can somebody who's done it confirm please? JasterM5 says that he only swapped the innards, and nothing more.
