what did you do to your s12 today?!

I have 2 well 1 parts car but i still look on cl wishing i had another im gunna try an attempt buying all the s12's around my area i can afford lol :) good or bad ones lol

I aligned my hood today,  but I couldn't quite get it as perfect as I'd wanted.

i would but theres no other s12 lovers here :/ so im trying to save em from the scrap even tho one got away :( lol

bought some z32 wheels.  got the rears on, they fit okay but will probably run a half inch spacer or so.  the fronts need spacers, am looking for shank style lug nuts that will fit so I don't have to buy longer studs.

bought some 9.5mm spacers for my rears......might have to do a little massaging (I dont think so though).....but I think theyll make the rear look sick

Picked up the rb prepping it so I can drop it in next week ordered a mount kit hopefully eveything goes smoothly when I put it in,  this is gonna ne one badass s12 by the beginning of the summer :)

Installed new side mirrors on both sides form manual to power, still need to install the wiring and the switch. Pulled both door panels broke the top of 1 the other top is already cracked.  Dug out my spare s14 top mount rear view mirror, and a spare set of s14 sun visors to install later.

Headed out for some work today, idle has been acting up lately and it came to a head today.  The 12 died sitting at a light, used starter to get me out of traffic. called roadside assistance and then called my client and canceled the work today.

Started with fuel system; checked all the vacuum lines, changed filter, changed the pump.  Still no joy.  Checked the electrical connections, and swapped out the distributor with a known good one, bingo!

Took'er out for a drive and all is well... 

Item worth noting:  The exhaust no longer gargles between shifts, muy bueno.   

Ordered my timing components from rawbrokerage today,  i put the s13 fronts today riding real good :)

swapped suspension crap onto the new chassis.. modded knuckles. z32 brakes. gotta figure out sway bar still. meh.

Finished up on the boost leak testing and found 4  boost leaks 3 semi bad and one HUGE one, I could pull the intercooler almost out of the coupler....  Now to just adjusting timing and gap my plugs to .40 and the ka-t should be running even stronger. ITS GETTING STRONGER AND STRONGER BY THE DAY! Aha

Got it out today. Cost me an arm and a leg, and she was damn hesitant to start back up after they drained the battery (assholes left the lights on and fucked with my buttons :() but she's been pretty reliable today so far. Hope she makes it to the meet tomorrow.

replaced my front studs with 45mm ones to run spacers and finally put my z32 wheels on the front.  When doing it though, I found this:

So I only got 4 of the 5 replaced, hoping the ebay seller will come through...  super weird though!  The knurl wasn't big enough so it just slipped in to the hole.

drove her almost 300 miles yesterday with not even the slightest issue. went to Griffith park for the socal meet and went back home, this car is the shit. hitting the 3rd week of no problems with the pedo, new personal record

found out one of my fender have a messed up bracket and the lower bolt have stripped to shit. Damn old cars... I'm gonna spend a lot of time on detailing the body of it next automn.
