realized that at 20 psi my gauges are useless because i am going way to fast to look at them

mounted the Recaro's in the s12. it was a bitch but if i was going to put any seats in my car the recaros were they way to go. adjustable to the left and right buy 1 inch and 1 1/2 inches up and down. it helped level the drivers side a bunch.  both are in both fit perfectly. fuck ya. I also cut the intake down by 2 inches so i could fit the s14 coolant over flow on the drivers side fender well. looks stock. I also swapped out the over head light that gusto sent me had to trim the metal that holds the rear part of it in but it went right in after that.

How did you install the seats?  What fab/technique did you have to do?

the 2 rear hole lined right up, the fronts 2 holes were a bitch. i had to cut the old seat mounts out and drill holes in the floor. had to do a ton of cutting and hammering. i used E30 recaros seats. They are height adjustable so it helped level the drivers side.

Drove about 40 miles off-road, it was an epic drive until we got it stuck in some deep sand. 2 and a half hours of digging and McGyvering later and we got it out and back to civilization.

New plug wires seem to be helping with the gas mileage.

Today I pulled my S13 drive shaft from the donor car Luckily it came from a piss poor project car and the bolts were loose. Made my life much easier. grabbed the s12 drive shaft, A light hammer and, A 12 mm wrench. Pulled the s12 drive shaft apart. Mated the s13 Front to the s12 rear. Took it back to my car and bolted it all in. Forgot to use the s12 carrier bearing housing and that was a little tricky to get in. Got it done. Waiting on the trans mount to be welded.

Stayed up for 24 hours working on my car. No more vac leaks now, Fixed some panels that were coming unglued by re-stretching them with heat from my work light and using a spray on adhesive. Entire Interior is installed, Fixed the multi switch (headlight stalk) I now have high beams again, Rewired my deck and sub. Installed red rear drivers side marker light, inflated all tires to same psi, tested wires at the tach with my DMM (finally found the damn thing) It confirms that its the tach itself that is not work so i get to take it apart all over again.

spent 5hrs today rewiring all my gauges/electric fans/tac etc etc

Prepped the ca20e to go away forever, just need to borrow a hoist now.

^^ I like your thinking. but ill add to it, Blow it up so it stays away forever. Then sell whats left so that the parts can be used to help eliminate all ca20s :D

I detailed the fack out of my interior, only a 1/6th of the way done. Very good steam cleaner with a wide head and a scrubbing nozzle with a high power brass nozzle to cut through thick dirt, Mothers, Windex, rags and a hard large scrub brush.

Rear brakes...2 times.. now taking out rear E-brake cable as it sticks :(

Heh, I've haven't been using my ebrake for awhile now... Cable is fine, but the stupid return spring doesn't release it correctly anymore. :(

who uses ebrakes anymore, i ripped all my shit off, i just have the handle to make it look cool and freak people out

One thing I learned from the PGT. The transmission isn't a kickstand :P
I gladly get underneath it every time i park it to use a hammer to release it's ebrake... It's cheaper than transmissions

the transmission is the best kind of ebrake available

I'm just too lazy to fix it, that's all... Plus I usually park on areas that are uneven, so getting out to release it isn't usually a good idea. :P

just put tank back in and filler neck and checked rear end oil level also riped the old ritted muffler and tail pipe off. i want my damn fsm  damn ups. now i gess il crawl under car and check the tranny oil

new (junkyard) ngks installed along with a full engine harness from the yard of course.  running good except for an enormous exhaust leak at the manifold/collector pipe.  need to replace a lost stud there...

got my 20e running real good finally then i messed wit the dissy to fine tune and now it just pops tis pissing me off bad im bringing it to tdc well 2nd mark on pully  then seting dissy in with outer rotor button facing #1 cyl and nothing ugh im bout to give up on this thing.

ive been i had it running real good should have left it. i  bought a referb dissy from rock auto and used the sensor in it hoping thats what dies when last po had it but idk
